Our Organization

Consulate Review was founded in 2020 to lead a movement of discussion and discovery in uncovering the ins and outs of our global geopolitical systems. We believe that meaningful conversation between current and aspiring leaders can shape a more informed and connected world.

Through interviews conducted at destinations around the globe, we create space for dialogue that bridges perspectives, generations, and borders.

At Consulate Review, our work begins with a simple but powerful conviction: that the conversations we are not having are often the ones we need most. Since our founding in 2020, we have traveled to cities across the globe to sit down with diplomats, policymakers, and international organization representatives, drawing out perspectives that are too often neglected by mainstream media. Each interview is an exercise in discovery, allowing us to unpack the layered realities of diplomacy in ways that inform and inspire. By bridging the gap between established leaders and those just beginning their journeys, we aim to build a generation of more thoughtful, more connected changemakers.

Our organization was conceived by a group of classmates who shared a creative medium and a deep curiosity about the world. What began as insightful meetings exploring the nuances of international relations quickly expanded into a broader project spanning permanent missions, politicians, and international organizations across inhabited continents. Today, Consulate Review operates through branches in major cities worldwide, each one contributing its own local lens to our global conversation. Whether we are in Hong Kong, Seoul, Cairo, London, or Bogotá, our mission remains consistent: to unlock the potential of dialogue and create space for perspectives that deserve a wider audience.
