Consulate Connect

What Is Consulate Connect?

Consulate Connect is our dedicated program for individuals who want to go beyond the interviews and dive deeper into the global geopolitical conversation. Since 2020, Consulate Review has been leading a movement of discussion and discovery — and Consulate Connect is how we bring that mission closer to those who care about it most.

Through this program, participants gain a more direct connection to the work we do, the destinations we explore, and the conversations that matter.

Consulate Connect invites participants to move beyond passive consumption of interviews and step into a more engaged relationship with the global geopolitical conversation. The program is built on the belief that understanding the forces shaping our world requires more than reading about them — it demands active dialogue, shared curiosity, and a willingness to sit with complexity. Through curated opportunities for discussion and discovery, members find themselves in thoughtful exchange with others who care deeply about diplomacy, international relations, and the human stories behind policy decisions.

Since 2020, Consulate Review has grown from a creative project conceived by classmates into a far-reaching platform connecting voices across continents. Consulate Connect represents the natural next step in that evolution, offering a space where the movement's core values — informed changemaking, cross-cultural understanding, and genuine conversation — take on a more personal dimension. Participants join a community of aspiring and current leaders who recognize that the perspectives often neglected by mainstream media are precisely the ones worth exploring with care and intention.

At its heart, Consulate Connect is about unlocking the potential of a generation eager to understand diplomacy from the inside out. The program encourages members to share perspectives, ask harder questions, and develop the kind of geopolitical literacy that comes only from sustained engagement with diverse viewpoints. From conversations about permanent missions and international organizations to reflections on how travel and lived experience shape our understanding of the world, Consulate Connect offers a pathway toward becoming a more informed changemaker in an interconnected global landscape.
